UK Innovate Research Grant

Our ‘Fast Start’ research grant from UK Innovate has helped us to forge new links with companies in the metal scrap, metal finishing and metal-based manufacturing industries. This in turn has uncovered some little-appreciated potential sources of feedstocks that can be re-processed into very valuable and useful chemicals that are currently mined, refined, and shipped from the other side of the world. We have also submitted a patent application covering some areas of our work that will help ensure that the UK profits from our novel methods of net-zero chemistry.
